The Golborne link between Knutsford and Wigan has been removed from the project, but an alternative route most be found within the allocated £97m budget.
The biggest impact on Carrington Village will be the 30+ additional HGVs travelling along the A6144 for up to 6 years during site preparation and construction. But this route will be dependent on the construction of the Carrington Relief Road.

When the construction has been completed, should the new East/West road across the south of Carrington Moss get approval, this will then link close to the roundabout in the bottom of the above picture.
